A Motown Wedgie!


This remarkable piece of video and audio occurred during the Michigan State/Bucknell game today. Announcers Ian Eagle and Jim Spanarkel are two of the best in the game, and the energy evident here is why. Ian cannot suppress his excitement when the attempted shot by Bucknell guard Stephen Brown gets "wedged" in between the backboard and the rim. Since the game was being played in Detroit, Michigan, Eagle was very quick to inject one of Detroit's well-known nicknames into the moment. Thus, we have been forever blessed with "A Motown Wedgie!"

As a bonus, another one of Brown's shots later in the game got wedged a second time. Eagle's reaction that time? "A Wedgie-Fest!" Thank the Lord for Ian Eagle.
